Short Breaks

Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry.

Coverack

Coverack holidays

The attractive village of Coverack grew up around smuggling and fishing. Tucked away on the South East corner of the Lizard Peninsula it is a very popular retreat with the sheltered waters of the harbour providing a haven for windsurfers. The beach is ideal for swimming and snorkelling and scuba diving can be enjoyed off the nearby “Manacles”, home to several shipwrecks.

As the South West Way coastpath runs through the village of Coverack this provides an opportunity for beautiful walks in all directions, whether gentler walks to the East or higher and more dramatic to the West.

About Coverack

Coverack

Numerous attractions are within driving distance of Coverack. With an excellent Windsurfing Centre based in the village. When the weather is favourable a visit to the outdoor Minack Theatre is just a short drive away, or the scenic Trelissick Gardens and spectacular St Michaels Mount. Much of the coastline has been designated an area of outstanding beauty, managed by The National Trust.

The collection of craft shops, cosy pubs and cafes serving local produce are worth a visit. The local hotel, The Paris, is well worth a visit. Named after a passenger ship that ran aground on the “Manacles” reef in 1899 it houses fascinating photos which tell the story.
