Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Mullion holidays

The largest village on the Lizard Peninsula, Mullion, has a picturesque harbour which is protected from the seas by the two stout sea walls. Mullion has an array of interesting shops, inns, cafes, restaurants, craft shops and art galleries for you to browse.

The working harbour is today a haven of peace and tranquillity, very much in contrast to it’s stormy past of smuggling and wreckers. Evidence of the past main local industry, pilchard fishing, can still be seen in the remains of the old stove and cellar.

Mullion

Most of the cliff and coastal grassland to the South is managed by the National Trust, a good example of which is nearby Mullion Cove. Walks along the cliff are well worth the effort, giving stunning views to Pollurian Cove a sandy beach popular with surfers.

Many rare plants can be found, exclusive to this area due to the reintroduction of cliff grazing to enable their regeneration.

The 15th century church of St Mellanus is a focal point in the centre of Mullion village, it has richly carved oak bench-ends depicting biblical scenes.
