Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Praa-sands

Praa Sands holidays

The small coastal village of Praa Sands lies between Helston and Penzance, overlooking Mounts Bay. The long wide sandy beach is ideal for families, having a beachside café and other facilities. The South facing aspect makes it a sunbather’s paradise, with long hours of sunshine and the large waves attract surfers from around the country.

Excellent access to the coastal footpath provides breathtaking walks and the cafes and restaurants in and around the area will provide refreshment after an invigorating few hours.

Praa Sands

The village itself is a huddle of 20th century buildings and nearby Pengersick Castle is said to be one of the most haunted buildings in the land. Regular ghost hunting pursuits take place, especially at Halloween or Christmas.

Wildlife abounds around the area. During the Spring and Autumn many migrating birds stop off to feed and shelter here on their long journey to Africa. You might also be lucky enough to spot a passing dolphin or porpoise at certain times of the year.

There is a season lifeguard service and canoes can be hired from the beach shop.

A nine hole links golf course locally welcomes non-members.
