Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

The bustling Cathedral City of Truro is located in the centre of Cornwall and is easily accessible with excellent road and rail links. The picturesque Georgian streets and recently renovated centre of Lemon Quay include a wide range of High Street chain stores and specialist shops and also hosts regular farmers markets selling locally produced foods and crafts.

With a venue to suit every taste the large selection of traditional public houses and specialist restaurants and bars will provide ample opportunity for sampling local produce.

The City is well known for its Cathedral located in it’s heart. Towering above the city it forms a spectacular skyline and is open to the public. The Royal Cornwall Museum is a must when visiting the City, the collection of information on Cornish history is intriguing.

Locally you can enjoy a range of entertainment, the vibrant streets often ring with the sounds of lively buskers and performers, with a good selection of live music to enjoy.

This is the perfect location from which you can visit both the North and South coasts offering a huge selection of beaches and coves. On the North coast you will find long stretches of sandy beach at Portreath and Porthtowan both very popular with surfers and only a 30-minute drive from Truro. On the South coast a host of hidden bays can be explored as well as the more renowned beaches from Pentewan and Polstreath at Mevagissey to Portloe at Veryan Bay. Falmouth, which is 10 miles from Truro, also offers several delightful beaches. The highly acclaimed Eden Project is just a short drive away and the Lands End and Lizard peninsulas are easily accessed from Truro.

The keen golfer will be able to enjoy a range of courses at Truro, Killiow, Perranporth, Falmouth and Holywell Bay golf clubs. Other activities can be enjoyed at the Truro Leisure Centre in the pools, fitness suite and sports hall. In the evenings enjoy a film at the Plaza Cinema or watch an event at The Hall for Cornwall, Cornwall’s leading theatre and concert venue.

Further afield there are many sites of interest to visit, many owned by the National Trust. St Mawes Castle, St Anthony Head and Trewithen Gardens are all within a short drive. The beautiful gardens at Bosvigo and Trelissick are also well worth a visit.

The Tulip festival is held every year on the long May weekend and celebrates the coming of Summer.
