Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

    4x4 Jaunt Challenge

    Set in the Exmoor countryside and held over 3 days in the last weekend in March. It has a variety of off-road sections of varying difficulty and is suitable for families, all skill ranges and most types of 4 x 4.

    Devon County Show

    Held over 3 days from 20th – 22nd May at Westpoint in Exeter. It offers non-stop entertainment with a variety of agricultural displays, delicious local produce to sample and purchase, displays, fairground rides and much more.

  • North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival

    North Devon & Exmoor Walking Festival

    Taking place between the 30th September - 3rd October the North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival has a good choice of guided walks on offer in spring and autumn. The walks range from about 4 to 10 miles long, taking in our beautiful coast, the moors of Exmoor, the Quantocks and north Devon.

    North Devon Festival

    Held at various locations throughout North Devon throughout the month of June. It is a celebration of the rich variety of cultural in the area and includes dance, fairs, art, lifestyle, sport, theatre, comedy, and nature events.

    North Devon Show

    Held in early August at Huntshaw and is the premier agricultural spectacle. A display of livestock classes occupy the arenas, as well as a variety of tradestands, displays and demonstrations for all to enjoy.

  • Dartmouth Royal Regatta

    Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta

    Held for 3 days from 27th – 29th August. With over 200 craft of different sizes, from Yachts to Dinghies competing in over 15 events along with air displays, music, rowing, tennis, running, childrens’ acitivities, a fun fair, fireworks and much more.
