Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

Okehampton holidays

With nearby Dartmoor just to the North, offering vast spaces, wilderness, rugged tors and unspoilt moorland villages, the medieval town of Okehampton is a great base from which to explore.

There are a variety of pubs and eating places catering for everyone’s taste within Okehampton and a wide range of shops including local specialists, national retailers and supermarkets.

Oakhampton

Historical architecture within the town includes the 15th century Chapel of St James and Okehampton Castle dating from Norman times.

The Museum of Dartmoor Life in Okehampton gives a good overview of the history surrounding this area. Okehampton hosts a well-attended Agricultural Show in August and the carnival is in October.

Simmons Park in the centre of the town offers tranquil parkland with a variety of sport facilities including putting, bowling, tennis and squash. Ashbury golf course is nearby.
