Tiverton holidays
Nestled by the river exe, amongst the magnificent rich green fields of the Westcountry, lies the largest mid Devon town, of Tiverton (known as ‘Tivy’ to the locals). Similar to its neighbouring town of Cullompton, Tiverton’s wealth of history also largely revolved around the cloth and wool trade of the 16th and early 17th century.
Enjoy a tranquil walk alongside the 11 miles of Grand Western Canal Country Park, or perhaps sit back, relax and take in the views whilst being pulled along by one of the last remaining horse drawn barges.
