Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with its rolling hills, wooded river valleys, patchwork fields, and spectacular coastline, lies the picturesque town of Kingsbridge.

This ancient market town was originally made up from two medieval towns and was then formed together by the Abbots of Buckfast Abbey, with the town’s popular market tradition still continuing today.

Protection from Dartmoor in the North, and warm waters of the Gulf Stream in the South, Kingsbridge enjoys one of the mildest climates in Britain.

Known as the Hub of the wheel, Kingsbridge is the natural centre of the South Hams, and boasts a vast variety of arts and crafts. Experience the local culture in one of the many art galleries and exhibitions, or take in the more lively arts, with the various theatrical shows and live music.

There is plenty to discover in this town. For the hustle bustle life visit the town in July for their annual Fair Week, or take an autumn break and enjoy the November Extravaganza Carnival, either of which turns the whole town into a masquerade of life and colour. After all that action, wind down and enjoy the finer tastes in local cuisine, wine and dine to your heart’s content in one of the many pubs, café’s, and restaurants which open all year round.
