West Bay in Dorset offers plenty of activities for all to enjoy. A historical area, it's located to the west of this beautiful county in an area known as the Jurassic Coast or Dinosaur Coast. Deep sea fishing can also be arranged and the West Bay harbour and marina also provide children with the opportunity to try a spot of crabbing.
Seasoned and novice walkers can take advantage of the various routes along South West Coastal Paths, all of which offer the most beautiful views. Explore the Freshwater to Abbotsbury route to the east of West Bay for historical splendour and to the west, enjoy panoramic views as you approach Eype.
An area renowned for its good quality food, fish and chips are a favourite amongst visitors, whilst an array of restaurants offer local, seasonal produce and tea rooms and local cafés can cater for those with a sweet tooth.
Located just two miles from the centre of Bridport, which is a bustling market town, transport links are good. The close proximity to such a vibrant town also offers a larger variety of shops and places to eat, should you wish to explore further afield.
