Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

This spacious detached farmhouse has a wealth of original charm and character with exposed beams and stonework, inglenook fireplaces, feature fireplaces in two of the bedrooms and a mixture of tiled, slate, polished wood and carpeted floorings.

From each room you will have views of the surrounding countryside with distant views to King Alfred's Tower that neighbours the beautiful National Trust gardens of Stourhead. Situated on a working farm, you will be able to see the animals in the surrounding fields and buy local produce in the well-stocked farm shop. The farm offers access to a wealth of public footpaths providing walkers with beautiful countryside walks from every direction. Somerset has something for everyone with picturesque villages and bustling markets and a wide selection of attractions, classic houses, gardens, art galleries and much more.

The first-floor accommodation can be accessed by two staircases offering FIVE bedrooms: 1 king-size double, 1 standard double, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 further spacious bedroom with 3 single beds. Bathroom: 2 family bathrooms with shower over bath and WC. Downstairs shower room with WC. Lounge: with a working woodburner set in an inglenook fireplace for those cooler evenings (first basket of logs supplied) and comfortable seating. Small 'snug' room perfect for children with a sofa bed if required. A further entrance with the main staircase with a second lounge off with french doors opening out onto the patio with a TV, video and DVD. Kitchen/diner: large and well-equipped with gas range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and seating for 10, leading to a more intimate dining room seating 4 with feature restored oven, window seats and access to the first staircase. Outside: enclosed garden with patio, BBQ and seating. There is a workshop where you can store bikes or dry off a very muddy dog! Amenities: ample off-road parking.
