The historic county town of Taunton is just 8 miles away with its shopping, eating, drinking and leisure entertainment. Just a short drive away is Oake Manor Golf Club, offering a superb 18 hole golf course and restaurant serving excellent food. Langford Lakes is also a short drive, where you can go coarse fishing on any of their 4 fishing lakes, Sheppys Cider Farm is also nearby. Idyllically situated, yet highly accessible for visiting all the attractions of Somerset and Devon such as Exmoor, Dartmoor, both the north and south coasts (the closest being 45 minutes away), numerous National Trust properties and several themed visitor parks including West Somerset Railway and Crealy Adventure Park. Guests are welcome to enjoy the acres of undisturbed land with an abundance of wildlife including horses, deer, rabbits, badgers, heron and buzzard.
The accommodation is arranged on one level and offers ONE bedroom: double. Shower room: with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV/DVD, Freeview, hi-fi, large sofa bed, hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Outside: large south-facing decked area to the back of the property which is accessed via the side of the property with spectacular views to Wellington Monument and the surrounding countryside where you can sit back and relax with a BBQ.
