The Coleridge Way can easily be accessed, a new 36 mile trail through the stunning countryside of the Quantock Hills with its herds of ponies, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor. You can look for fossils on Kilve beach, an Area of Special Scientific Interest. Further along the coast is the seaside town of Minehead with its sandy beach, harbour fishing and coastal boat trips. Between Kilton and Minehead are several small quiet pebbled bays for those wishing to avoid the crowds and many welcome dogs all year. Also nearby is the Stockland Lovell Equestrian Centre and the West Somerset steam train.
