Badgworth Farm Cottage offers a private retreat ideally suited for adults who enjoy the pleasures of country life. It is situated in a rural location and is approached through a private entrance shared only with the owner's adjoining property; a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. The historic towns and cities of Axbridge, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells, Taunton, Bath and Bristol are within easy access by car or rail. The seaside towns of Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare are within a 25 minute drive. You will be ideally situated for a range of activities for anglers, horse riding, cycling, walking and golf which are all nearby.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 galleried double (perfect for 1 person as there is access from only one side of the bed) with an en-suite bathroom and WC and a balcony that boasts far-reaching countryside views. Please note there are low sloping ceilings and low doorways in this bedroom. On the ground floor is 1 further double bedroom and a dressing room opposite that can be used for a cot or if requested can be made into a single room. Shower/wet room with WC. Open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with TV, Freeview, DVD and french doors opening into the garden. Kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The enclosed garden overlooks the surrounding fields and has seating, a gazebo and a pond which is not fenced so caution will need to be taken. Ample parking. Bed linen towels and electric included, there is an additional charge for central heating from 1st November to 30th April (£4 per night). Regret no dogs or children under 12 years old.
