Culmhead House welcomes you to stay in one of their two spacious self contained suites set within this beautiful Victorian Manor House all with stunning views over the private parkland. With 10 acres available to explore there is room for everyone whether you want to enjoy a leisurely walk, see the animals, kick a ball, use the trampoline and swings, enjoy a game of croquet or badminton or simply just relax on a sun lounger Culmhead can fill these needs. Situated on the Devon/Somerset border you will be a 30 minute drive to a wealth of popular attractions that include Cricket St Thomas, Crealy Adventure Park and much more. The Blackdown and Quantock hills are nearby so you will have a vast choice of walks, cycle routes (bike shed available), fishing and birdwatching to choose from. The popular beaches of Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis are all just 30 minutes by car. There are many good local pubs and restaurants nearby and the high street shops and leisure entertainments of Taunton are a 7 mile drive.
All suites have a secluded BBQ area within the grounds with seating. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included (additional charge of £20 from October - March). Washing and drying facilities available. Regret no smoking. 1 small dog by arrangement only. Babysitting by arrangement.
Overlooking the East of the estate Maple Suite offers TWO bedrooms: 1 large double with sofa and TV and DVD/video and 1 family bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Bathroom with hand held shower and WC. Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with TV, DVD or video, both are available on request. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer.
