There are a wealth of attractions close by including the West Somerset Steam Railway, Crealy Adventure Park, Hestercombe Gardens, Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, and many National Trust properties. In the immediate vicinity is an abundance of wildlife, stunning scenery, footpaths and picture-postcard villages. Visitors are encouraged to explore the farm and join in with the farming activities, and in the Spring there are lambs to bottle feed and newborn calves to see. The River Tone forms the farms southern boundary, so there is the opportunity to fish as well as an area of ancient woodland for you to explore.
The accommodation is a spacious wing of the 16th century farmhouse, tastefully furnished and full of character with beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. There are TWO bedrooms: 1 double with a single bed offering lovely views of the open countryside to the Blackdown Hills leading to the bunk bedroom. Very spacious bathroom with bath and WC. Comfortable lounge with sofa bed (which is suitable for an additional person if requested at time of booking), inglenook fireplace with woodburner (logs are free), TV, video and DVD. Well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, chest freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and rayburn that is lit during the Winter months. Small cloakroom leading off from the kitchen with a WC. Large enclosed garden with patio area, BBQ and play equipment. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included.
