This rural retreat is adjoined to the owner's house but privacy is assured. Heatherton Park Farm was formerly part of the historic Heatherton Park Estate built in the latter half of the 18th century. It is situated in an attractive rural setting on the outskirts of the pretty Somerset Village of Bradford-on-Tone. The studio is ideally situated for exploring the unspoilt countryside of Somerset and being easily accessible to Somerset's picturesque villages and bustling markets. The small market town of Wellington is 3 miles away and the historic market town of Taunton is just 7 miles, with all the top names in shopping, eating, drinking and leisure entertainments. For those who love walking, the Quantocks and the Blackdown Hills are close by and are wonderfully unspoilt and peaceful. For those who wish to stay closer to home, you are welcome to roam freely over the owner's land and try out one of the local village pubs selling good food.
The property is accessed via its own private entrance and once inside there is a small entrance hall with a staircase leading up to the accommodation. The accommodation offers ONE double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over with WC. Lounge/diner with TV, DVD, Freeview, hi-fi and large windows looking out over the owner's pretty garden and stunning countryside. Well-equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a washing machine which is tucked away in the entrance hall downstairs. Visitors can have use of the owner’s garden, with a table and chairs close to the entrance of the property for your use should you decide to try al fresco dining, a BBQ, or to simply relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. Ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog by arrangement (however dogs are only allowed in the spacious outside kennels).
