Mulberry Lodge is a charming and peaceful retreat offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere to guests, situated within the village of Cannington. This single storey, self-contained property which is attached to the owner's home, provides an ideal base for couples. The area offers a wealth of attractions including Cannington pitch and putt, Cheddar Caves and Gorge famous for the caves and potholes, Dunster Castle, Clarks Shopping Village and Wookey Hole. For those who love walking, there is easy access to Exmoor with its breathtaking scenery and is wonderful for walking and pony trekking. There are also several walks and bridle paths close to the property and it is also ideally situated for access to the Quantock Hills, an area of "outstanding natural beauty". The county town of Taunton is approximately 8 miles away with excellent shopping, restaurants, sporting and cultural activities. The beautiful cathedral city of Wells, Glastonbury and Bath are also easily accessible. The village of Cannington boasts a selection of local amenities comprising a butchers, bakery, farm shop, hairdressers and beauty salon, post office and convenience store. There are also several pubs within walking distance that serve good food and real ale.
The accommodation is arranged on one floor and offers ONE twin bedroom. Bathroom with large shower cubicle, bath and WC. Spacious kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and washing machine. Lounge with TV, DVD, Freeview and gas-effect woodburner. The lounge leads onto a second lounge that overlooks the garden and is ideal to sit and relax in. Garden furniture and BBQ provided and use of lawn and patio area to the front and side of the property. Regret no smoking inside the property. 1 dog welcome. Parking directly outside the property. Bed linen, towels (for use inside the property), electric and central heating included. Shops and pubs walking distance, nearest sandy beach is a 45 minute drive at Minehead. Arrival time 3.30pm. |
