Situated across lawns, and an orchard, from the 17th century farmhouse, guests will be welcome to share the 10 acres of land which is home to chickens, geese, sheep and a jersey cow called Bramble. Trout fishing is also available at a small charge in the nearby picturesque fishing lake. If you require more than the peace and tranquillity Old Holcombe Water provides, then you are only a short drive to a variety of sandy beaches and attractions within the county, such as Wimbleball Reservoir with its water sports, Somerwest World at Minehead, The West Somerset Steam Railway, Bream Leisure Park, Taunton with its high street shops, and Exmoor with its wildlife, walks, beauty and unspoilt charm. There are some excellent local family pubs serving good bar meals.
The accommodation has been sympathetically converted and each property has exposed beams throughout and open stonework giving a traditional feel. Guests can use all lawned areas although each property has its own seating area and BBQ. Laundry room with metered (50p) washing machine and tumble dryer. Ample off-road parking. Bed linen included.
