These four converted barns have been furnished and equipped to a high standard and are perfectly positioned for touring the whole area, with a wealth of popular beaches like Burnham-On-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare being a short drive. The properties are close to the motorway, thus making the whole of the South West accessible. These barns are also ideal for fishermen being situated less than 200 metres to an 8 acre fishing lake and a 5 minute stroll to two more fishing lakes. Other attractions close by include Clarks Shopping Village, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, West Somerset Steam Railway, Roman Bath, numerous National Trust properties and Cricket St Thomas being just a few. The properties are situated on the bicycle trail known as the Polden Circuit. This ride uses country lanes and the delightful Bawdrip-Cossington cycle track to provide a 10 mile circuit of attractive villages on the North and South sides of the Polden Hills. If you fancy something a little less strenuous, stroll the adjacent Parrett Walk, or to the village pub (15 minutes) serving good food. Less than 1 mile away is the market town of Bridgwater which offers an array of shops, pubs, restaurants, Splashpool, leisure activities and cinema. Visit in Autumn and you will be lucky enough to witness one of the oldest and largest fairs in the country. The Bridgwater Fair takes place in the last week of September for 4 days. The first Friday in November is Carnival time in Bridgwater, one of the largest in Europe, over 100 illuminated entries light up the Winter sky.
