The owners have equipped it with modern appliances that mean your stay will possess all the comfort you would expect. Situated in the heart of Somerset, it is an ideal base for exploring the area. There is a wealth of popular attractions to suit all tastes: England's smallest city, Wells is close by. It featured in the film 'Hot Fuzz' as the fictional sleepy West Country village of 'Sandford'. Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. Other popular days-out include Roman and Georgian Bath, Glastonbury Tor, retail outlet Clarks Village and the caves at Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. There are beaches to the North at Weston-Super-Mare as well as being close to a variety of leisure activities such as swimming, riding and 2 18 hole golf courses within 5 miles, fishing. In the evenings, walk to the village pub or restaurant, both serving good food, or you can choose to relax and have a BBQ in the enclosed private patio area at the rear of the property.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms approached via cottage-style steps: 1 double and 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom with shower over and WC. Kitchen/diner with cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Lounge with Freeview TV, video, DVD, hi-fi and gas woodburner-effect fire. Enclosed patio and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Central heating from October-April is £15 per week payable on arrival to the owners. Regret no pets or smoking in the property. Beach 10 miles, 2 18 hole golf courses within 5 miles, shops 3 miles and pub with restaurant walking distance. |
