Short Breaks


Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

About the property

FABULOUS CONVERTED BARN IN PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS

This beautifully renovated barn has been converted to a very high standard with much care and attention gone into making your stay extremely comfortable. A feature window extends into the roof to provide wonderful views of the paddock and evening sunsets over the Mendip Hills. By night the glazed roof provides the perfect setting for a romantic starlit evening.

Situated on the outskirts of Gurney Slade, you will be able to take full advantage of the village amenities with 3 good pubs and the village Post Office store all in walking distance. There are many other attractions for which the area is famous within a short drive, including Georgian Bath which is steeped in history and well worth a visit for its attractions including the Roman Baths, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bristol and the Chew Valley Lakes. The coastline of North Somerset is easily accessible and offers a range of beaches. After your day, watch the sun go down and relax in garden under the pergola or stroll to the local pub for an evening meal.

Up 2 steps into another bedroom with 3 single beds (the bedrooms are in the eaves of the roof with low sloping ceilings and therefore head height is reduced in places.) Bathroom: located downstairs with bath, walk-in shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with feature window to take in the paddock views, wooden flooring, flatscreen TV, DVD, iPod dock and hi-fi. Kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, and washing machine. Outside: private garden area overlooking surrounding fields with a covered patio, BBQ, garden furniture and a secure shed to keep bikes or golf clubs. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels and electric included. Night storage heating available, if required, at a cost of £20 per week payable to the owners on arrival. Regret no smoking or pets. Additional info: caution must be taken in bedroom with reduced head room. Location: less than a 20 minute drive from the Glastonbury Festival. Shop and pubs 0.5 mile, beach (Weston-Super-Mare) 27 miles and 3 18 hole golf courses within 5 miles.
