COSY COTTAGE IN PEACEFUL VILLAGE LOCATION, SLEEPS 2+2This delightful cottage, formerly the village shop and post office is positioned in the centre of the picturesque Polden Hills in the village of Moorlinch. The village itself has a 12th century church and craft centre which offers pottery and glass blowing as well as a family pub providing good food. You will be well placed to explore the area including the towns of Glastonbury with its Tor and Abbey, shop at the Clarks retail village in Street, or visit Cheddar Gorge and Wells or enjoy a walk over the Quantock Hills, all this within an hours drive. A little further out lie the historic City of Bath and Exmoor National Park. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the north and south, such as Lyme Regis, Seaton and Burnham-On-Sea. The Tea Chest also makes a perfect place from which to cycle, walk, fish, watch the birds or go horse riding. At the end of a full day unwind in the beautiful garden with a glass of wine. The accommodation has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to a high standard offering ONE double bedroom that can be made into a twin on request. Shower room with WC. Well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Quaint lounge/diner with comfortable sofa bed (can be double for extra guests), TV and woodburner with logs provided, (coal by arrangement with the owner), for those cooler out of season breaks. Patio area with seating. Use of owner's large, very pretty gardens with outside seating and BBQ. Sheds for storing bicycles and boots etc. Parking is next to the cottage on a quiet village lane. Bed linen included. Electric £10 per week and £2 per day for night storage heating. Non-smokers preferred. Less than a 30 minute drive from the Glastonbury Festival. Central for visiting the Bridgwater Carnival in November. Beach 30 minutes, shop 2 miles, pub walking distance.
