Most of the time our holiday properties book out for the Full week (7 nights), however there are times during some Off Peak periods or last minute where Short Breaks may be arranged with certain properties. They can be either 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights and are priced accordingly. Please remember that all short break enquiries have to be checked prior to booking, simply find your perfect cottage, get in touch and we will help finalise your enquiry either email or phone our Reservation Team .

This delightful conversion of the original cider barn is spacious, characterful and well-equipped. Set in 150 acres of traditional farmland on the slopes of the Blackdown Hills designated area of outstanding natural beauty, only a mile from the Devon border, it is easily accessible from Taunton and the M5. Approached through attractive grounds it is attached to the owner's 16th century thatched farmhouse and benefits from its own secluded elevated patio within an enclosed garden from which to enjoy the superb countryside views.

There are many opportunities for exploring on foot or by car with footpaths and winding lanes linking into nearby forests and nature reserves. It is idyllically situated yet highly accessible for visiting all the attractions of Somerset and Devon such as Exmoor, Dartmoor, both north and south coasts, numerous National Trust properties and themed visitor attractions, "It's in the middle of everywhere" exclaimed a visitor. A restful haven to return to after days out, if you can drag yourselves away in the first place!

The spacious beamed characterful cottage offers TWO bedrooms: both large, 1 double with en-suite shower over bath, WC and second door onto landing, and 1 twin bedroom with hi-fi. Shower room: reached from the entrance hall with WC. Lounge: situated downstairs with woodburner effect electric fire, flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD, various books, toys and games. Kitchen/diner: fully fitted with washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, double oven, microwave and dishwasher and DAB digital radio. Outside: french doors onto patio with patio furniture and BBQ. Private enclosed garden. Amenities: covered parking. Bed linen included. Towels for hire. Central heating an extra £25 per week. Electric by meter reading. Wi-fi connection available.
