Rich and Lew, better known as Dad and Daddy to their children, are an established Instagram duo going by the name of twodadsinlondon. The ever-smiling pair have a son and a daughter who go by the names Boy and Girly on their social channels and whilst the children do feature on their feed quite regularly, Rich and Lew are mindful of the impact social media can have on young children and take measures to protect them, such as never showing their full faces and not referring to them by name. Instantly refreshing in our modern world.
Follow twodadsinlondon for uplifting content regarding their adoption journey, as well as the tougher parts of parenting such as the heart-breaking saga of nursery drop off (and pick up)!
When not in London, these dads love to take Boy and Girly to the east of England. Rich says, “Our favourite place to visit as a family has got to be Norfolk, as for us it has everything from the gorgeous countryside to amazing beaches, where you might even be lucky enough to spot a seal or two. Of course, then there’s the brilliant Broads where you can have an adventure on the boats. What more could you ask for?”

TigerLillyQuinn
Fritha Quinn is better known as TigerLillyQuinn, her social media/blogging alias which illustrates her and her young family’s life in the beautiful city of Bristol. Wilf (nine) and Mabli (five) are often the stars of the show, while gorgeous locations in and around the West Country are never far behind. In fact, this family influencer's favourite family-friendly destination wasn’t in Bristol, but a little down the road...
“My favourite family-friendly destination has got to be Cornwall,” she said. “We tend to visit there in spring so it’s not super busy but still warm enough to spend the day at one of the beautiful beaches the area has to offer. I think the landscape can rival most places and living in the South West, it isn’t too far for us to travel but feels like a world away from the city. We love spotting the seaside pastel houses and eating lots of Cornish pasties!”

Laura, known in the social media and blogging world as FiveLittleDoves, writes about the ups and downs of family life, co-parenting, love, loss, and the subjects close to her heart - stillbirth, miscarriage and chronic illness. Her lovely imagery really paints the picture of family life, while her captions tell equally lovely and meaningful stories. She says it’s the National Trust's Formby on Merseyside, a glorious beach with dramatic sand dunes surrounded by sweeping coastal pinewoods, which is her favourite place to head with her little hens and encourages other Instagram families to do the same!
“Our favourite family-friendly spot is Formby Point,” she said. “We love taking the children to explore the woods and hunt for red squirrels on the nature trails before letting them run wild in the sand dunes, dig for treasure on the beach and splash in the sea. Regardless of the time of year, it’s always a fun day out!”

Alex Galbally, known to his 106k followers on Instagram as daddy_to_triplet_girls, is a digital creator and part of a happy family of seven, which comprises three girls (of course), two boys and his wife Charlotte. Along with Charlotte’s Insta account, their family home account and their YouTube channel, Alex and his family really are up there with the most trendsetting family Instagram influencers to follow in the UK.
Sharing insights into his crazy family life, which of course includes his little fur baby Reggie too, you’ll find tips on parenting, home decor, date nights and the challenges posed when the children outnumber the parents! The Chelmsford-based family often enjoy travelling across the country to the South West to holiday with their squad of seven.
He says: “There is this place is called Start Point in Stokenham, Devon. The view is incredible. It’s near a little lighthouse which looks the same as it did when it was built. We took the girls when they were 6 months old.'

NorthEastFamilyFun
Sam, aka NorthEastFamilyFun, is based in the North East of England, and her feed is often promoting her wonderful area. From fun and games on Newcastle Quay to pub-hunting in Yorkshire, Sam is one of the best family Instagram influencers for finding out where’s best to head in her area. In particular, she is a big fan of Alnwick, the market town in North Northumberland, and, as shown by the photo above, it’s a must-visit for Harry Potter fans.
She said: “We really love Alnwick. There's the world-famous Alnwick Castle and beautiful Alnwick Gardens, home to one of the largest treehouses in the world, plus a quirky second-hand bookshop and a nice selection of places to eat. There’s always lots going on for families and you’re only a few miles from the beautiful Northumberland coast too.”

katie_ellison
With a whopping 87,000 followers, katie_ellison is one of the UK’s most popular family Instagrammers, and can often be found sharing photos of her adorably photogenic family of five and their travels. Based in Peterborough, she says it’s Ferry Meadows Country Park, found in the middle of Nene Park in the cathedral city, that’s the “best place” to head with her gang.
She added: “It’s a gorgeous country park with a few playgrounds, miles of trails, a cafe and lots of little spots to picnic and sit in the sunshine.”

ACornishMum
ACornishMum is, well, a Cornish mum, believe it or not! Stephanie Couch (Stevie) runs the account, which covers a range of topics including living in the beautiful county of Cornwall, Type 1 Diabetes (her eldest son has lived with this since he was five years old), DIY, travel and parenting, amongst other things.
When asked about her favourite spot in Cornwall to take her kids, she said: “One of my favourite family-friendly spots in Cornwall is Perranporth. It’s a great base for a holiday as it isn’t too far to travel for lots of local attractions. Plus there are some truly stunning coastal walks around the Perranporth area and Perranporth Beach is fantastic.”

bylaurenmcdermott
Lauren is based in Herefordshire, where she runs the fantastic bylaurenmcdermott blog and social media accounts. She describes her content as both “parenting and lifestyle”, and started creating content at 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant. That was six years ago, so there’s plenty of wonderful family-orientated content now to be found both on her blog and on her social media feeds, including one of the best family Instagram accounts around.
Her favourite local family-friendly spot is Queenswood Park in Leominster. “It’s brilliant! A big woodland to explore, but the entire route is buggy friendly. There’s a Gruffalo trail, a big park for all ages and a sweet little gift shop and cafe. We love grabbing a hot chocolate and walking the dog around in the winter or picnicking with the blossom in spring.”

PinkOddy
Joy Jackson is the brains behind PinkOddy, a blog and social media account that, in her own words, promotes being “healthier, fitter and mentally well-rounded”. She also coined her own hashtag, #outdoorsandhappy, which, if used, allows other Instagrammers to be featured on her ever-growing page.
Based in Gloucester, of her favourite nearby family-friendly locations she said: “I love Beechenhurst Lodge in the Forest of Dean. Something for all ages and great to get #outdoorsandhappy.”
