The Kings Head, Richmond

Warming fires in winter, a decked outdoor area in summer where you can watch the world go by, and superb seasonal menus showcasing the very best of Yorkshire produce make The Kings Head one of our favourite dog-friendly pubs in Richmond.

This traditional Yorkshire Dales public house warmly welcomes those with four paws in all areas, except the main restaurant as some people aren’t too keen on being watched by a drooling doggy whilst tucking into their supper! However, as they are such dog lovers, they provide a wonderful selection of dog beer and treats to make up for it.

  • Dog beer and treats available
  • Canines are allowed everywhere except the main restaurant
  • An all-day, crowd-pleasing menu that ranges from pub classics to modern British dishes such as slow-roast pork belly or sea bass and celeriac pureé
