What do our guests say?

"Great week away at The Briers. Good location with only a 15-minute walk into Hawkshead village itself, which was very pricey for parking. The house itself had all essentials you could want and was very clean on arrival. Plenty of room for a party of four adults and two older children. Parking outside of the house for two cars. The location was a great base to see many sights and I would highly recommend using the ferry from Windermere to Hawkshead as it misses out many very tight country lanes." – Rachel

One thing to do during your stay: While nearby Windemere is, of course, well-known for its water sports and boat cruises, you cannot visit Hawkshead without venturing inside the enchanting Beatrix Potter Gallery.
