A sky lit up with fireworks, a flute full to the brim with sparkling champagne and a home bursting with friends and family. Is this the New Year’s Eve celebration you’re searching for?

As the biggest party night of the year, New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate anyway, anywhere, with anyone you like. You could be with the Scots celebrating their 3-day Hogmanay and singing Auld Lang Syne at the top of your lungs or down on the Cornish coast partying on the beaches or dancing all night on a boat under the stars.

Perhaps you’d rather avoid the drunk party-goers and crowded squares by escaping into the wilderness of the Lake District, Brecon Beacons or Scottish Highlands.

Fireworks over mountain

If you select the right venue, you could play host to an unforgettable celebration for 20+ guests; a casual cocktail party for a few of your favourite people or a family get together that includes fun and games to entertain the kids.

There are so many incredible landscapes in the UK all with their own unique New Year’s celebrations. Whether you plan to host your own event or travel to one of the best party towns in the UK, it’s essential you find a fabulous apartment, holiday home or country house in an extraordinary location to make your celebrations go off with a bang.

It’s the time of year for planning festivities and with Hallowe’en and Christmas already on the horizon, it won’t be long until the most spectacular New Year’s Eve venues are all booked up. We have picked out a few special properties scattered across the UK.

Might one of these cottages inspire your New Year’s Eve plans?
