Our Norfolk cottage collection

Old Coastguard Hut

1. Old Coastguard Hut, Mundesley

Sleeps 2

Why we love it:

It’s easy to see why this was our most-booked Norfolk cottage in 2022. The front of this former coastguard building has huge, floor-to-ceiling windows giving a front-row view directly onto the beautiful Mundesley Beach – there’s nowhere better to enjoy the vista from than cuddled up in the king-size bed with your loved one. If you can drag yourself away from the view, Mundesley’s many village amenities are within easy walking distance, and there is access to the long-distance walking trail, Peddar’s Way, if you fancy exploring further afield on one of Norfolk’s best walks.

Why our guests love it:

Really lovely place to stay with a location that would be hard to beat wherever you go. Very well decorated with all that you need to self-cater. Though we found so many lovely places to eat out that we really didn't use the kitchen that much. I would definitely recommend.” – Allan, 2022

Flop

2. Flop, Bacton

Sleeps 4 + 1 dog

Why we love it:

Another fantastic coastal property in Norfolk, Flop - along with sister property Flip - enjoys breathtaking views over the dog-friendly beach at Bacton. With Flop also welcoming one furry friend, it’s a great location for a dog-friendly holiday in Norfolk. Cosy up all together in front of the wood burner after windswept wintery walks, or fire up the BBQ in the garden on sunny summer evenings.

Why our guests love it:

The cottage could not be in a better location looking out over the beach to the sea. Well-equipped property within walking distance of pub, chip shop and cafe.” – Chris, 2022

Gingerbread

3. Gingerbread, Wroxham

Sleeps 4 + 2 dogs

Why we love it:

Perfect for a relaxing holiday away from it all, Gingerbread looks as if it has come straight from the pages of a storybook. Its red bricks and thatched roof, as well as its idyllic position on the edge of a wood, create a picture-perfect scene for your Norfolk holiday. Inside, the accommodation is delightfully modern, while outside is a large and quiet garden that children and dogs will adore.

Why our guests love it:

Had a wonderful week at Gingerbread Cottage. Brilliant location to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to amenities/other locations. The garden is amazing, and the kids and dog got plenty of exercise! The cottage had everything that we needed, and we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend and go back.” – Carla, 2022

The Helens

4. The Helens, Mundesley

Sleeps 6 + 2 dogs

Why we love it:

The third Mundesley property on our list, The Helens is a beautiful bungalow with an even more impressive garden – complete with a beach hut-inspired shed as a nod to the coastal location. It’s a great Norfolk base for a family holiday, where you can relax all together in the social spaces after days out on the beach, or enjoy some al fresco dining while admiring the rolling countryside views in the garden.

Why our guests love it:

Such lovely accommodation – would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning. Well-equipped kitchen/diner and a very comfortable lounge with a lovely sunny area for just sitting and having a read. The main bedroom with an en-suite wet room is a great size room and, as for the huge comfortable bed – that’s a real treat. And then there’s the conservatory – a great place to enjoy a sundowner at the end of the day while watching our fur babies playing in the garden. Missing it already.” – Susan, 2022

We absolutely had the most wonderful time staying at Littlewick Cottage, we had everything we need, very cosy! The cottage itself is located in the perfect place.
