Situated close to the Clachan Bridge, popularly known as the bridge over the Atlantic to the mystical Isle of Seil. Within a short walk to the friendly 18th century Tigh an Truish Inn. The island's main village of Ellenabeich has featured in a number of TV and films including Para Handy and Ring of Bright Water. The village's main attractions are the gardens of An Cala and the Scottish Slate Islands' Heritage Centre. Seil also boasts a 9-hole golf course and popular yacht anchorage at Phuilladobhrain and Balvicar. The sea side town of Oban is within easy reach, where you can take a boat trip over to Mull, Staffa, Iona and the Treshnish Isles.

The spacious accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: all with spectacular views, 1 double with en-suite shower and WC, 1 double and 1 twin. On the ground floor, 1 double with en-suite shower and WC. Bathroom: with bath and WC. 2 separate WC’s, on the ground floor. Lounge: with open fire (first basket of logs included) and TV/DVD. Kitchen/diner: open-plan with electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Utility: with sink, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Outside: large enclosed mature garden. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Location: shop 2 miles, pub around a 5 minute walk, restaurant and sea shore also within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm.

This is a fantastic property for families and groups to enjoy the area and take a break from the every day. Stunning views. The property was very clean and well equipped whilst not being too pristine that you felt guilty about coming in a little muddy after a walk. Good walk from the door for dog owners with a great view and the pub is 5 mins walk.Read more Not a lot going on near the house but if you want that you can drive to Oban which has lots of restaurants, pubs, shops. Clachan Cottage is a fantastic holiday home in a beautiful location with stunning views from the windows. There were six of us (adults and 2 two dogs) and plenty of room to move around without getting in each other's way! The furniture is comfortable and the lounge cosy with the open fire. Clachan is in the most wonderful setting with beautiful scenery all around. The house is cosy and well equipped with everything you need for a fabulous holiday, our dog loved the garden, it was very safe for her. We would love to return another time.

Sehr gerumiges Haus in herrlicher Lage. Sehr gut ausgestatte Kche. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen und einem Hund und haben uns alle sehr wohlgefhlt. Ein sehr uriges Pub ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt.
