Opposite the estate is the award-winning Camel Valley Vineyard so check the schedule for tastings and tours. A short car journey will take you to both of Cornwall’s radically contrasting coastlines. The property is well-situated for those wanting to visit the area’s top visitor attractions like the surf beaches at Polzeath, Harlyn, and Trevone and the quaint villages of Fowey, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle. The lounge/kitchen/diner are open-plan with the lounge benefitting from a cosy wood burner, TV, DVD, iPod dock and DAB radio. The dining area has seating for 6. Also, on the ground-floor you will find 1 twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom with shower over bath and WC and there is a  handy utility room with washing machine. On the first floor there is 1 king-size master bedroom with TV/DVD boasting a lovely window seat with beautiful views down to the river, en-suite with shower over bath and WC. 1 twin bedroom with TV/DVD, en-suite with shower over bath and WC. Both bedrooms on the first-floor enjoy far reaching views across the orchard garden and valley.

Outside guests can enjoy use of a private enclosed garden with BBQ and picnic bench for warmer evenings and a swing-set for the children. Ample off road parking.

 

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Had a lovely week at Butterwell, the cottage was roomy and had all the home comforts. It was perfect for our party, my husband and myself, my brother and my sister, not forgetting our two dogs. There are three bedrooms, all with TVs, and three separate ensuites, bathrooms. The location was peaceful, set in stunning countryside with riverside walks Read moreand a private gate leading directly onto the Camel Trail. It's a short drive to Wadebridge with supermarkets and takeaways. Hope to return. Hide

We had a fantastic stay here, so central to many of Cornwall's popular attractions. A very peaceful, restful location, very spacious and comfortable with amiable hosts nearby.

Butterwell is beautifully situated in the tranquil Camel Valley with direct access to the Camel Trail for walking and cycling. The property has three good-sized double bedrooms (two en-suite) and a family bathroom on the ground floor. It has fishing rights for Salmon and Trout within its own 40 acre estate. The property is well situated for visits Read moreto Cornwall's North Coast (Padstow, Polzeath etc) and for the South Coast (Fowey etc.). Lanhydrock NT with its wonderful gardens is nearby. Hide
