One of four, attractive holiday homes nestling within a private 40-acre estate with woodland walks, wildlife ponds, fishing and access to the Camel Trail.

UNDERGOING MAJOR RENOVATIONS WHICH ARE DUE TO BE COMPLETED IN JUNE 2018

The property will be completely renovated. It will retain all of the charm and character features our guests love, and at the same time introduce modern fixtures and fittings. We will implement a modern damp-proof course, new wooden floors throughout, plaster, new kitchen, bathrooms, windows, roof, log burner and some new furniture. The update will be dramatic and we can't wait to show you the results.

These charming properties are found nestling on a peaceful and private 40-acre valley, and all guests are welcome to explore the estate in its entirety. Tucked away along a quiet country lane, with views over unspoilt countryside and the River Camel, it also gives visitors direct access to The Camel Trail, which is great for walking and cycling between Padstow and Bodmin. Enjoy the beautiful private nature trail on the estate and the 1.5 mile stretch of the River Camel home to a wide array of British wildlife along with some of the best sea trout and salmon fishing spots in Cornwall. Opposite the estate is the award-winning Camel Vineyard so check the schedule for tastings and tours. A short car journey will take you to both of Cornwall’s radically contrasting coastlines. The property is well-situated for those wanting to visit the area’s top visitor attractions like the beaches at Polzeath, Harlyn, and Trevone and the quaint villages of Fowey, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle. Other attractions include the Eden Project, Bodmin; Wenford Steam Railway, the Crealy Great Adventure Park and the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House and gardens, to name a few. The owner of the property can be contacted if you would like to try your hand at salmon and sea trout river fishing (a small charge is levied), yet fishing in the private woodland ponds is free of charge.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this detached barn conversion offers inverted living accommodation which is brimming with character, simultaneously benefitting from gorgeous views across the Camel Valley from each of the bedrooms found on the ground floor. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a further two twin bedrooms. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and a separate shower room with WC nearby too. Upstairs you are greeted by an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that offers impressive, panoramic views. Make a beeline for the window seat for the best vistas of the River Camel and Camel Valley Vineyards. Also, present in the lounge is a TV/DVD, iPod dock, DAB radio, and a wood burner. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine.

Outside guests can enjoy use of a private enclosed garden with BBQ and picnic bench for warmer evenings. Children can have fun with a swing-set. The garage is also available for visitor use.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
