Lovely cottage with enclosed garden, ideal for children or dogs. Easy walk to the beach but a bit of a hike back as it's all up-hill. Ideally placed for the sandy beach of Sandymouth which the dogs loved. The local pub had a good selection of beers, ciders and food.

The cottage was fine, but more suited to families with young children as the twin bedroom is very small and therefore not really accommodate two adults other than when in bed. Getting dressed, or changed couldn't be undertaken at the same time.

The cottage was cosy and clean and the layout perfect with a bathroom/toilet at either end! The grandkids (aged 5 and 7) loved the play barn and collecting eggs plus watching the milking. The garden was nice and secure for the dog although the two farm dogs we met were friendly enough! Location is great for North Devon and Cornwall. Faboulous. We stayed in combe barne which had a lovely lawned fenced in garden with side acess, our 3 huskies loved that. The children (5 and 9) loved the play barn rain or shine, especially pingue the cat who slept in there. The farm dog, digit, is a lovely girl, she would follow us down the lane when we walked to marsland bay/ beach. This was a lRead moreovely walk, if you like exploring and going off the beaten track. The children compared it too the story 'we're going on a bear hunt', a great walk. Hide

We loved the farm. My granddaughter loved the play barn with resident cat, Pingu. She also loved Dag the collie dog, looking for eggs from the chicken and watching the cows being milked. Great garden for our dogs and super walks off the farm down to Marsland Mouth through the nature reserve.
