Lovingly decorated with an array of locally sourced artwork and furnishings, this superb cottage is ideally located to discover Boscastle and the surrounding area

Situated right in the centre of the charming village of Boscastle, this property is ideal for those wanting to stay in a harbour side village with amenities in walking distance. With a selection of shops and eateries right on your doorstep, there’s no shortage of choice, and you’ll never be bored. Stroll along the coast path to discover hidden coves and beaches, or take a short drive to Tintagel to explore King Arthur’s castle and the quirky shops. Further afield but still within easy reach, Padstow and Port Isaac are well worth a visit, the National Trust property of Llanhydrock House is not too far, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short trip south.

Enter this beautiful property through the original front door,  taking you first into the cosy lounge. The wood burner and stone surround create an eye-catching centrepiece for the room, with comfortable sofas to relax on in the warm. There is a TV/DVD for when you just want to stay in and relax, or a hi-fi with iPod dock to chill out and listen to music. Through to the kitchen/diner, which is a homely and welcoming area ideal for those nights where you’d rather cook than head out, there are modern fitted appliances including an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a small dining table to sit and enjoy your meal at. Upstairs, the main bedroom has calm and neutral décor with a double bed. Accessed via the bedroom is another small room, which can have a small futon bed supplied on request. The shower room is accessed via the main bedroom also, with a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, the property has a small patio to the front, and a small raised gravel and patio area with garden furniture at the rear. There is roadside parking out the front of the cottage (subject to availability) with additional parking in the public car park if needed.

The property is in perfect location for access to the coastal path and all Boscastle has to offer, at the same time a very quiet and peaceful retreat. The inside of the cottage is very tastefully finished with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. This cottage is the best I have stayed in over my many years of staying in the area.

Beautifully presented cottage with everything provided for a very comfortable stay. Perfectly located, easy access to coastal paths, surrounding areas and local amenities. Very friendly hosts who provided a lovely welcome pack (mid stay linen change was a nice surprise). Thoroughly recommended.
