Situated on the B3314 between 2 of Cornwall's most popular destinations: Tintagel that is steeped in all the myth and legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and Padstow, with its picturesque harbour, narrow winding streets packed with boutiques and Cornish fayre and renowned for its celebrity chef Rick Stein. The property is ideally placed just off the A39 that links North and South Cornwall making it ideal for touring the whole of Cornwall, from the rugged wilderness of Bodmin Moor to the breathtaking and awe-inspiring Lands End.

Bathroom: with spacious shower and WC. Lounge: still retains many original features, including wooden beams and original fireplace housing the woodburner, flatscreen TV and DVD. Amenities: parking for 1 car at the Cornish Arms public house car park 180 yards away, further roadside parking subject to availability in the lane on the opposite side of the road from the cottage. Bed linen, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 small dog welcome. Location: beach 4 miles, shop 2.5 miles and pub 180 yards. Arrival: 3.30pm.

Very comfortable cottage but on busy B road with no footpath but parking at local pub. Good location as a base to visit local places of interest. Fully equipped but mobile connection poor and TV intermittent signal, especially in bad weather.

Absolutely lovely. It's furnished like a primary home with lots of thoughtful touches. Fully updated, the beds are comfy, the shower spacious and the kitchen well-equipped. Yet it retains all of its beautiful rustic charm. As others have noted, the only drawback is proximity to very busy road. We found the walk to/from the car park at the local pubRead more an easy trek. We'd gladly return to this property. Holiday Cottages also was brilliant in helping to resolve a booking issue. Great service! Hide

Its a lovely cosy cottage. A very busy road we didnt know it was so close to the cottage which you have to be very careful when crossing with a dog. We had a lovely week.

The cottage is lovely and well equipped. The cottage is directly on a road which was busy at times and there's no garden for doggies. Otherwise it's a lovely property and we had a lovely week.

The propert itself was lovely, we just found the location a little remote and parking outside the cottage was impossible as the road was so busy. However, the landlord at the Cornish Arms allowed us to use his car park and we didn't mind the walk to and fro. We did a couple of amazing coastal walks from Tintagel to Boscastle and from Port Isaac to Read morePort Quin, with our dog, but by mid-week, the weather was so awful we cut short our stay. Hide

Owner was brilliant when light switch failed. Fixed next day. The cottage is clean and well equipped. Would definitely use again.

The cottage is a delight, every thing thought of and provided. The parking is a little difficult, we were lucky to use the nearby lane, but once parked, everything good. Thank you and well done to the owners

Excellent cottage, immaculate decoration and everything you need. Great base to discover Cornwall, we visited the north and south coasts. Friendly village with good pub.
