Situated on the B3314, perfectly located between two of Cornwall’s popular destinations, Tintagel and Padstow. This charming cottage boasts a mixture of traditional features and contemporary living. Sleeping up to four people, this cosy bolthole is situated a short drive from the historic town of Tintagel and the picturesque harbour town of Port Isaac known for its setting in the ITV series Doc Martin. This property is an ideal for touring the whole of Cornwall and enjoying a tranquil retreat with spectacular views.

This traditional cottage offers a warming ambience as soon as you step through the door. The welcoming lounge area with wooden beams, creates a snug setting with wood burner and original stonework surrounding the fireplace. You’ll also feel right at home on comfortable sofas with TV and DVD for entertainment. Walking through to the kitchen/diner, a spacious area to enjoy home cooked meals prepared in a contemporary kitchen equipped with integrated electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms are reached via the steep staircase (with a stairgate at the top) with the master double offering spectacular views over the countryside and onto the sea. The second bedroom provides one single bed and one 2’6” single bed. The cottage also has a spacious shower room with shower and WC.

At the rear of the property, you can enjoy a quaint courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining. The property is just a short stroll from the nearby pub where you can enjoy delicious meals and the pub car park also offers space for one car and further roadside parking subject to availability in the lane on the opposite side of the road from the cottage.

 

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Nice clean and welcoming cottage. Great lounge with log burner if needed; good kitchen and outdoor space to sit. Also good shower room. The cottage location is great for touring but is virtually on the very busy fast road including farm vehicles and one has to be careful walking along side the road. It was good to be able to park in the Cornish ArmRead mores car park. Hide

We will be back, the cottage was absolutely lovely and with the log burner going it was perfect to relax after a blustery walk! The pub up the road was so welcoming and served good pub grub and a really good pint. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall and a lovely place to get back to and relax! Thank you we loved it!

Gorgeous cosy cottage with inglenook fireplace and everything you need for a self catering holiday. Nice touches from the owners make it special. The only negative was it was on a busy road but we got used to that. Also no parking space outside the property for offloading but we managed to park up the lane opposite. Will definitely return.

The cottage is in an ideal location to visit all that Cornwall has to offer whilst staying out of the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts. All the home comforts and a garden terrace makes for a great holiday. Parking at the local pub 50 yards away gives you a great excuse to pop in. Would go back in the future.

Very comfortable cottage but on busy B road with no footpath but parking at local pub. Good location as a base to visit local places of interest. Fully equipped but mobile connection poor and TV intermittent signal, especially in bad weather.

Absolutely lovely. It's furnished like a primary home with lots of thoughtful touches. Fully updated, the beds are comfy, the shower spacious and the kitchen well-equipped. Yet it retains all of its beautiful rustic charm. As others have noted, the only drawback is proximity to very busy road. We found the walk to/from the car park at the local pubRead more an easy trek. We'd gladly return to this property. Holiday Cottages also was brilliant in helping to resolve a booking issue. Its a lovely cosy cottage. A very busy road we didnt know it was so close to the cottage which you have to be very careful when crossing with a dog. We had a lovely week.

The propert itself was lovely, we just found the location a little remote and parking outside the cottage was impossible as the road was so busy. However, the landlord at the Cornish Arms allowed us to use his car park and we didn't mind the walk to and fro. We did a couple of amazing coastal walks from Tintagel to Boscastle and from Port Isaac to Read morePort Quin, with our dog, but by mid-week, the weather was so awful we cut short our stay. Hide
