Situated on the B3314 between 2 of Cornwall's most popular destinations: Tintagel that is steeped in all the myth and legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and Padstow, with its picturesque harbour, narrow winding streets packed with boutiques and Cornish fayre and renowned for its celebrity chef Rick Stein. Port Isaac, known to many as the setting for ITV's Doc Martin and Saving Grace, offers a selection of traditional pubs and restaurants and is a short drive away. The property is ideally placed just off the A39 that links North and South Cornwall making it ideal for touring the whole of Cornwall, from the rugged wilderness of Bodmin Moor to the breathtaking and awe-inspiring Lands End.

This traditional cottage offers TWO bedrooms: reached via steep cottage stairs (stairgate provided at top of stairs) 1 master double with countryside views out to sea, 1 twin with adult single and a 2'6" single bed. Bathroom: with spacious shower and WC. Lounge: still retains many original features, including wooden beams and original fireplace housing the woodburner, flatscreen TV and DVD. Kitchen/diner: integrated electric oven with hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: quaint courtyard at the rear of the property with BBQ and garden furniture. Amenities: parking for 1 car at the Cornish Arms public house car park 180 yards away, further roadside parking subject to availability in the lane on the opposite side of the road from the cottage. Bed linen, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 small dog welcome. Location: beach 4 miles, shop 2.5 miles and pub 180 yards. Arrival: 3.30pm.

A very clean, warm & lovely cottage. Easy to find & great for local amenities. Lovely local pub with a great atmosphere & food. Brilliant equipment & decorated to a good standard.

Nice enough cottage but in need of some maintenance at present. The cottage is on a main road with no parking, making loading/unloading tricky. This is a traditional cottage with small windows, making the front rooms a little dark, but the kitchen & bedroom on the back are bright & airy. Cottage well equipped. Small yard at the back would be a pleaRead moresant place to sit out, but again needs a make over. Good location for exploring this part of Cornwall. Pub a couple of minutes walk down the road. Hide

On arrival the front door lock was hanging off. Rang holiday cottages they sorted straight away, door catch fixed within the hour.

No toilet rolls supplied. Towels not supplied (this is given in information supplied). Front of cottage is close to a frequently used road. Parking at cottage is not possible - sensibly even for off-loading. The parking available is fine - about 200 yards away.

Very comfortable and homely house to stay in. Very well equipped for families. Lovely garden and surroundings.

The cottage although rather dark and gloomy on entry was actually quite pleasant . It's location on a fairly busy road means that you have to pay attention to the fact that you can get very wet if raining from parking in the pub car park and walking along the road which has no pavement.
