A delightful cosy semi-detached cottage in a convenient location with far-reaching sea views and a large enclosed area with children's play facilities. Bude’s sandy beaches are just three miles away.

This cottage which has been completely refurbished in 2018 sits in a picturesque position with far-reaching views across open farmland to the sea. The property is situated on the outskirts of Stratton on the A3072 with easy access to both Cornwall and Devon. Sitting just three miles from Bude with its sandy beaches, sea lock, canal, restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets, banks and much, much more. It is close to a variety of lovely locations including Tintagel, Padstow, The Eden Project, Clovelly and Hartland. There are many popular attractions nearby including animal sanctuaries, adventure centres, heritage sites and leisure activities.

Stepping into the property you are immediately greeted by a warm and comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner sit and relax in front of the wood burner and watch a film on the Smart TV or listen to your favourite tunes via the Bluetooth speaker. Keen cooks will find all they need in the kitchen area to whip up a meal or a light snack with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs there are two bedrooms with countryside views, a double and a twin.

Heading outside is a patio area with garden furniture. There is a large shed housing a washing machine and tumble dryer, freezer and providing dry, secure storage for bikes and surfboards. A gateway leads to a large garden area with children’s play area, decked section with seating and BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The cottage is well furnished and kitchen facilities good. The bathroom facilities are good. The bedrooms are lovely with gorgeous bedlinen. The owners are friendly and helpful. The cottage in Stratton, Bude, is well positioned for local beaches and dog friendly. Bude has lots of independent shops. Widemouth bay and Bude attract surfers. Bude also Read morehas a sea pool. Boscastle and Tintagel are not that far away. This is an ideal area for any activity, walking, swimming, playing on the beach. Hide

This cottage was great for our family of three. Our 9 year old could play in the large garden on the swings, we made use of both BBQ with friends who live nearby and found the cows and sheep most entertaining. Roxanne made us feel very welcome and left us a large bottle of water and milk on our arrival plus provided us with 12 freshly laid eggs froRead morem her chickens. It was spotlessly clean, with lots of thoughtful touches which helped to make our stay extra special. Hide

Stunning cottage and views with everything you could possible need. The travel cot and highchair was all set up as requested. The children loved the play area. Only a short drive to local shops and beaches. Couldn't of asked for a warmer welcome from the owner. Would definitely recommend staying here with your family.
