This purpose converted wing of the owners’ home has been lovingly furnished in a pretty country style, is perfectly placed for touring Devon and Cornwall, and provides a great base for couples.

Head towards the north coast and you will discover the coastline is populated with must see destinations including ever popular Padstow, a must for all seafood lovers and home of Rick Stein’s famed restaurant and the picture postcard Port Isaac, well known as the setting of ITV's Doc Martin. There are also some fabulous expansive beaches on offer at Bude and Crackington Haven. The unspoilt south coast of Cornwall is also accessible from here and boasts an array of scenic coves and picturesque fishing villages to enjoy, such as Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro. Other attractions and places of interest include Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor, The Eden Project, Tamar Otter Park and Wildwood, the Camel Trail, and Launceston Steam Railway.

Stepping inside this delightful property via the French doors to the front you immediately find yourself in the light and bright lounge/diner. This great sociable space provides a perfect venue for a relaxed meal at the end of the day and boasts a TV/DVD, sofa bed (that can be used to accommodate two children) and wood burner effect electric fire. Sat beside this is the kitchen and this is also well-equipped and offers an electric hob, combination oven/microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. Handily, all of the accommodation is on the same floor and the next room is the pretty bedroom which is presented with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request). Completing the offering inside the property is the bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.

There is seating directly outside and further to this, access to a large enclosed paddock with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. Private designated parking for one car is provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A real home from home. A lovely cream tea, milk, plenty of teabags and coffee were all waiting. A beautiful paddock to sunbathe or walk around. Great central location for visiting both the Cornwall coasts. Land lady/lord are lovely.
