This delightful property is adjacent to the owners’ home where a warm welcome awaits and privacy is assured, just a short walk from the town centre and beaches, making for the ideal couples’ getaway.

Take a short walk into Bude's town centre, where there are a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, while a golf course, leisure pool, tennis court, clifftop walks and a sandy beach can also be found around the town. Further afield there are plenty of wonderful seaside towns and villages to visit, including Padstow, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel, while over the border in Devon, Clovelly, Hartland and many others are also within easy reach. Travelling slightly further into Cornwall, take a day out to visit The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Land's End, the open-air clifftop Minack Theatre, St Ives or Bodmin Moor. The location is perfect for also exploring the coasts of Cornwall and Devon.

On the ground floor of the property guests will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, making the most of the available space. The lounge is light and airy and guests will enjoy cosying up in here on the sofa and armchair watching the TV or a DVD, or perhaps listening to the hi-fi. A dining table perfect for an intimate meal or a leisurely breakfast bridges both the lounge and kitchen areas. In the contemporary-style kitchen area there is everything needed to prepare a romantic meal including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC.

Outside of the property, guests are free to enjoy the owner’s garden, which features both lawn and patio areas and is surrounded by pretty plants, flowers and bushes. Enjoy an alfresco meal or a drink in the sunshine with the seating and BBQ provided. There is also a heated summerhouse in the garden, should you wish to escape from the sun, kitted out with a TV. Ample parking is available outside of the property.

The Nook is ideal for a couple to stay as a base for Cornwall and Devon. Friendly owners who made us very welcome and Bude town centre is a 10 minute walk where we found at least 3 excellent pub/restaurants. The Nook is a well designed holiday apartment with a bedroom upstairs. It is excellently furnished and all the equipment is new. It is located within walking distance of all Bude's amenities including the canal and beach. It also has two huge bonuses-on site parking and the owners are genuinely lovely people.
