Guests immediately feel at home in these barn conversions bursting with rustic charm and set in a most peaceful and beautiful river valley. Spacious accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The farm is a wonderful central location for visiting all of Cornwall and Devon, within very easy reach of all the beaches and rugged cliffs of the North Cornwall Coast and equally close to the wild moorlands of both counties, not forgetting the numerous award winning restaurants, local food festivals, gardens and golf courses. Many all year round attractions are within easy travelling distance, including The Eden Project, Plymouth Aquarium, and King Arthur's Castle at Tintagel.

Alongside the farms' own cattle and sheep and amid colourful hedgerow plants and flowers, live an abundance of wild birds, butterflies and animals such as foxes, otters and badgers. A wildlife hide has been built overlooking the River Ottery for quiet viewing and webcams are set up to capture the wildlife around the farm which can be viewed on every cottage TV, see swallows eggs hatching or baby bats leaving their nursery. There is lots to do on the Farm: Acres of lush Cornish countryside to explore plus 2 miles of riverside walks. Try clay pigeon shooting or river fishing (both fly and coarse), Play facilities. Enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool (May - end September) or Classic British Motorcycle Collection and Experience an Ariel, BSA or Triumph (please contact owners for details). Meet the farm animals, there may be calves and lambs to feed or eggs to collect, depending on the time of year.

Roomy and very comfortable accommodation. FOUR bedrooms: 3 doubles all with en-suite shower rooms and WC and 1 bunk bedroom. (1 double bedroom is situated on the ground floor). Additional family bathroom upstairs. The ground floor is an open-plan design with a large french farmhouse dining table and a very comfortable lounge area with woodburner effect gas fire, smart 4K HD Freeview TV and DVD. and two sets of patio doors open onto a sunny and private walled patio area ideal for BBQs and al fresco dining.The well equipped kitchen includes a gas hob and Rayburn, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Fitted stairgates. Cot and highchair available on request, as are disabled access, ramps and shower chair. Option of interlinking with WATHA to provide a total of 8 bedrooms, sleeping 16. Arrival: 3.30pm.

Had a lovely stay here. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Had a pizza night where they provided bases and passata and we took toppings. They were cooked in their pizza oven. Kids loved the pool. Could swim whenever we liked so did an evening swim. Fire pit was lovely. Accomodation was comfortable and spacious and well equipped. Would definitely Read morerecommend and return again. Hide

A great place to relax and enjoy the country side, which was also very near to other great places to visit. We have three children from 6 to 18 and they all found the Cottage and the working farm very interesting. Great holiday & thank you :-)

Really spacious accommodation with everything needed. We enjoyed our time there and the owners were so friendly and helpful. Once you find your way on the minor roads, journeys to the coast do not take as long.
