One-bedroomed single-storey property, in a tranquil location close to the town of Truro and in easy reach of beaches and harbour villages.

The rural location of this property makes it hard to believe that it is just three miles from the city of Truro, with its shops, restaurants, museums, and markets. There are plenty of interesting gardens nearby, including the National Trust-managed Trelissick House and Gardens, which has 300 acres of parkland for visitors to enjoy. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, two of Cornwall’s top attractions, are also within an easy drive. The situation of the property means that it has good access to both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, offering the best of both worlds, with the northern coast famed for its wide beaches and world-class surfing conditions, and the south for its pretty fishing villages, such as Mevagissey and Charlestown. This is a great spot for getting to know all that Cornwall has to offer.

As guests enter this single-storey property, they will first come to the light and airy feeling lounge/kitchen/diner, with its comfortable sofa, TV, and DVD. On the far-side of the room, there is a small dining table situated under the window, whilst the kitchen area has a contemporary feel and is equipped with a gas oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and microwave. There is a shared, external utility room which houses two washing machines and tumble dryers. The bedroom is also located on the ground floor and is a comfortable and restful double which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath and WC.

Outside, the property’s stable door opens out onto a pleasant seating area, which extends out to an enclosed courtyard garden; a tranquil spot in which to enjoy the sunshine over a glass of wine or a morning coffee. There are other grounds to enjoy onsite along with ample off-road parking.

Lovely comfortable cottage with a great enclosed garden just right to enjoy a nice drink it was very quiet with nice views across the country side.

Beautiful converted stable, ample room and everything you need to cook etc. Really cosy and well presented. Plenty of parking and no issues when we turned up with a boat on a trailer! Fresh eggs straight from the hens and really tasty. Will definitely stay again, there is also B & B available at 75per night (fantastic value for money). An excellent very well appointed cottage, in a very quite location. It was situated in an area which provided easy access to all of the main attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Highly recommended

The cottage was in a great location, but not within walking distance of any amenities you had to be able to drive to restaurants, pubs, etc. This we found was the only downside.

For those wanting to explore different parts of Cornwall its central location is ideal. The cottage was very comfortable all round. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.
