A single storey wing to the main farmhouse situated in the centre of Cornwall. Explore the traditional fishing villages, sheltered coves and sandy beaches in most directions. Or stay closer to home and wander the farm with walks directly from the property and in the evenings relax in the enclosed garden taking in the stunning countryside views.

Ideally located for enjoying a relaxing break in Cornwall. The owners live in the main farmhouse, however the property benefits from ample outside space and guest's parking is within their enclosed garden area, therefore privacy is assured. The property is located on a 140 acre working farm, situated in mid Cornwall, with easy access to both the north and south coasts, offering the fishing villages of Mevagissey and Padstow to name a few as well as many sandy beaches and coves. The area has a variety of attractions including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lands End, the Lizard Peninsula and the popular towns and villages of Falmouth, St Ives and Charlestown with its shipwreck museum. In the evenings, visit one of the local pubs, sit and absorb the view or enjoy a BBQ in the garden.

The accommodation can be accessed via two entrances, one on a slight slope and the other on the level. On entering you will walk through the pretty sun room, which is a fantastic space to soak up the evening sun or sit with your morning coffee. From here you will find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which benefits from woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD a cosy area to return to after a day exploring. The dining table is situated perfectly to make the most of the countryside views and the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Further into the property you will find the bedroom, with a king-size bed and opposite is the shower room with WC.

Heading outside you will find the enclosed lawn garden with seating and BBQ, a perfect area for alfresco dining or sit and relax watching the sun set over the distant horizon. Guests are welcome to wander the nearby countryside and farmland. Ample parking available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Hewas View is like a home from home. It's a very well equipped cottage with everything you can think off. Set in beautiful peaceful surrounds you can feel yourself relax almost immediately, yet you are ideally situated to explore the wonderful county of Cornwall with places like Eden, Newquay, St Austell and wonderful beaches all within 30 mins. Very comfortable cottage on a working farm. It was really quiet and peaceful. The garden and conservatory were beautiful. John and Diane were lovely people and very helpful. The cottage was well placed for visiting North and South Cornwall.

The cottage was just the right size for a couple. It even included a conservatory with very comfortable chairs in it and outdoor chairs in the garden. Having our pet dog with us, we were very pleased to find the garden is totally fenced in, meaning the dog could be let out of the house unsupervised, with no means of escaping. The bed & settee were both very comfortable & there were extra pillows, but only a 13.5 tog duvet which we found too warm (again a problem we have found elsewhere). The cottage was well equipped, with plenty of towels & tea towels & kitchen utensils etc. It was quiet & peaceful, but the long drive from the road was somewhat bumpy.
