A stunning location, at the entrance to Fowey Harbour. With un-interrupted sea views, the seascape extends for a distance of 45miles, from near the Eddystone Lighthouse in the east, to a point hard by The Lizard.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the South west coastal path, this semi-detached bungalow is surrounded by lawned gardens running right to the edge of the coastal slope above the cliffs. Polruan is a small fishing village in the parish of Lanteglos-by-Fowey in Cornwall. It is bounded on three sides by water. The village has two pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do, why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock near Bodmin.

Enter into the spacious porch via the front door, here you will find ample storage for your muddy boots, coats and buckets and spades. Heading though to the  traditional style lounge/diner, here you can relax after a day of exploring on the sofa and accompanying armchairs in front of the wood burner effect electric fire, catch up on your favourite TV programmes or watch a movie on the DVD. By the window there is a purposely placed lounger for you to admire the stunning views from the property. The dining area is catered to seat four. Leading through to the kitchen again with breathtaking views, which the breakfast bar has been perfectly positioned to make the most of the view  For the chefs amongst you the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Once the day is done head to the bedrooms,  There is a king-size bedroom with lounger near the large window, perfect for taking in the ocean views. The second is a twin bedroom. There is also a shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside the property has a terrace with garden furniture where you can enjoy an afternoon tea or glass of wine and just unwind. There is a large lawned area, enclosed on the road side with double gates leading onto a parking area suitable for two cars.

A very comfortable cottage in an amazing location with everything you need. Bright modern shower room. Dated kitchen but everything works, my favourite seat is the breakfast bar overlooking the spectacular view. If you want ultra modern facilities this cottage is probably not for you, but if you want comfort and old fashioned charm you will love itRead more... we do!!! Hide
