Attractive barn conversion in a tranquil rural location, with easy access to Cornwall’s north and south coasts.

This property is accessed via a private lane, which brings guests to the owner’s farm, home to horses and chickens and spanning ten acres of land. The tranquillity here makes it a fantastic location for those who want to get away from the stresses of everyday life and yet still want to be able to visit Cornwall’s many attractions. The town of Fowey is situated eleven miles to the south of the property, where visitors can enjoy a stroll along the esplanade looking out across the pretty harbour, browse the independent boutiques and have lunch in one of the numerous bistros, restaurants, and cafes. Many other interesting harbour villages and seaside town are also within easy reach.

This tastefully converted property is a wonderful place for a holiday, with its comfortable and well-appointed accommodation. The ground floor of the property has slate flooring and exposed beams throughout, while the lounge has a TV/DVD which guests can watch from the sofas. The spacious kitchen/diner has space to comfortably seat four at the dining table and is well-equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge with small freezer section, dishwasher, Nescafe coffee machine, washing machine and CD player/radio. The property’s two bedrooms both benefit from their own en-suite shower rooms with WC. The first is a double room, while the second is a twin. There is a stairgate available for the top of the staircase.

Outside, the property has an enclosed rear patio, with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ, whilst just across the drive, at the front of the property, is the shared hot tub. There is ample parking.
 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

owners on hand and very helpful, cottage had every thing you need plus a few extras, good location for exploring north and south Cornwall. very quite location with lots of wildlife around, had a great stay.

A beautiful cottage with outstanding surrounds of a lovely steam and friendly horses. We had a 2-year old on tow and we had the best time with so many places to go locally. We did Bodmin proud by visiting the local tourists events including the Railway train, the jail, the Moors, local leisure centre. We visited the dairy farm which was pretty imprRead moreessive. We eat at the cottage every evening. We were lucky to have such beautiful weather. Our 2 year old loved playing pooh sticks too.Thank you Hide

We were welcomed with scones, cream and strawbury jam. Just the job after a 250 mile drive! The cottage is warm and comfy and has been kitted out with quality goods, not hand-me-downs from the main house as you often find. There is even a proper coffee machine provided! Thoughtfully equipped and ideally situated for travelling all over Cornwall. The welcome Cream Tea was most welcome and as we were staying 2 weeks we got another one half way through our holiday! Delightful owners who were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended x
