This lovely three-bedroom barn conversion enjoys a peaceful setting on a 250-acre dairy farm. Avid fishermen will also appreciate the mile of private river fishing for guests.

This attractive property is perfectly positioned for touring the ruggedly gorgeous county of Cornwall with its long sandy surfing beaches along the north and south coast. Major visitor attractions in the area include the Eden Project, historic Plymouth with the maritime landmark, the Hoe, Barbican, National Marine Aquarium, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, Jamaica Inn and many more. The area is also famed for its fantastic scenery and is the perfect haven for walkers. In the evenings, relax with a BBQ on the patio or take a stroll to the village pub, less than 1 mile away. Guests are also invited to indulge in a spot of fishing along the private 1 mile stretch of river (maximum of 2 rods).

On arrival at this property you will notice that it retains much of its charm and character. The cosy lounge has plenty of seating, a wood burner with logs included, and a TV/DVD with Freeview to keep up with your favourite shows. The kitchen/diner is presented in a farmhouse-style with an oven and hob, washing machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There are three bedrooms, all on this level and some with lovely countryside views – the first of which has a double bed and en-suite shower room with WC, the next has twin beds, with en-suite shower room with WC. The final bedroom contains a super-king bed. All bedrooms have a TV, the twin containing a TV/DVD. The bathroom is close by with its bath, wet room-style shower and WC.

Outside is the property’s enclosed garden and patio with seating. There is also off-road parking for three cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely barn in really quiet surroundings but within walking distance to a village with a pub serving good food. Ideal location for exploring the rest of Cornwall. Had a nice welcoming cream tea and flowers waiting for us on arrival. Had a great time and would visit again.

A good location, to explore via car. Pub is down typical Cornwall narrow roads with no lightning and a fairly step incline back (we did not try it.) Plenty of room for 6 guest, but the grassed area is not visible from Kitchen (so small children may need to be supervised all the time) although the garden is gated and fenced in. We had a wonderful time, the cottage was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was in a good location for places we wanted to visit. The owners were friendly and helpful and welcomed us with a lovely cream tea. Would definitely return and recommend.

We had a wonderful holiday. Jack and Karen made us very welcome and the cream tea and flowers were a lovely touch. The cottage was perfect for a 3 generation holiday and a wonderful place for my parents to celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary. We would love to return one day and would highly recommend this lovely cottage .

We thoroughly enjoyed the short stay we had at Meadow Barn. The property is in a beautiful setting and is very well equipped. Unfortunately we arrived at around dusk and it did take a few minutes to locate the barn, but courtesy of Karen and Jack the lights were on and the property was warm. Very clean, well equipped barn conversion. Two bedrooms ensuite and master bedroom has an amazing bathroom with wet room. Wonderful log burner in the sitting room which made the room very cosy. Lovely rural setting. Would certainly go back again.

Impeccably clean and well equipped this cottage is a real home from home. Wheelchair accessible throughout and furnished to a very high standard we cannot recommend it too highly, so much so we have already booked to return next month.

Meadow barn was in a very quite location and within easy reach of a large Tesco store where we filled up with groceries and petrol, we were mid way between Devon and Cornwall so could drive to all areas within 2 hours

Meadow Barn is like a home from home. It has everything you need. It's in a great location for peace and quiet, but not to far from lovely places to visit. Karen and Jack are very welcoming and there were nice scones with jam and cream waiting for us. Good walks staight from the door if like us you take your dog.
