Attractions in the area include numerous National Trust properties and gardens, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays Castle, The Eden Project, Tall Ships at Charlestown and much more. Porthluney Cove at Caerhays is the nearest beach but there is plenty of choice among the many fine beaches of the Roseland peninsula. The regional city of Truro is worth a visit and has a range of shops and leisure facilities. On site, enjoy strolling the country lanes, relax on the sun deck, or enjoy a BBQ on the terrace.

On entering this elegant property, the guests will find themselves in the open/plan kitchen/diner. This is a fantastic space for the whole family and a perfect place to whip up a quick breakfast before a days exploring or sit down for a family meal on the large dining table after a long day. The farmhouse style kitchen area is well equipped with TV, range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. French doors lead onto the patio area which really flood this room with sun and warmth on a summers day. The handy utility room adjacent to the kitchen houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC, perfect for hanging up your coats and kicking off muddy boots. Heading further into the property and also on the ground floor you will find two of the four bedrooms. 1 double and 1 twin. Also on this floor you will find a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Take the stairs to the first floor where you will find the impressive lounge, offering TV/DVD, BluRay player, woodburner and patio doors which open onto a decked area and garden. The 2 further bedrooms on this floor consist of 1 king-size with en-suite shower room and WC and 1 twin. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath and WC.

Outside the property you will find a large garden which is ideal for football or letting children let off any excess energy. Along with this there is a fruit orchard and patio. There is ample off-road parking next to the property.

A fabulous week staying at the stables, it was very well equipped and really did feel like home. A deceivingly large property with plenty of room for everyone and the garden (more like a field) included fruit trees with all produce available for picking. Books/toys/entertainment for everyone if needed. Located need to the main road to St Austell / Read moreTruro and all of Cornwall is accessible from here. Highly recommended. Hide

Large cottage well equipped but would benefit from more showers considering the size of the property. Quiet location with large garden.
