LOVELY COTTAGE IN A PEACEFUL FARM SETTING WITH TENNIS COURT AND WI-FI

Situated in a place mentioned in the Domesday Book and at the end of a quiet no-through road, this lovely character cottage is attached to the hayloft. Situated within 210 acres of traditional farmland with a prize winning pedigree herd of South Devon cows and sheep.

An ideal base for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, you will be greeted with a Cornish cream tea and made welcome to explore this beautiful location. In one of Cornwall's most idyllic spots, you will be ideally placed for touring the area with some lovely long sandy beaches to enjoy as well as popular fishing villages including Looe and Polperro. There are a choice of attractions within a short drive which include four of the most impressive National Trust properties within striking distance, The Eden Project, historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium, Bodmin and Dartmoor and much more. Visit one of several good family pubs in the evening for food, or relax with a glass of wine on patio in the evening sun. Leisure facilities: nature trail, woodland walks and tennis court.

The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with hand basin and 1 twin with en-suite shower room with WC both bedrooms with TV's. Bathroom: family size with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: spacious with wood-slate floor, traditional fireplace with original bread oven and woodburner, Smart TV, DVD/Blu ray, cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. Outside: enclosed patio area with seating and BBQ, tree swing and see-saw available for children in the owner's garden. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and logs included. Wi-Fi included. 1 dog welcome. Highchair available and ample room for your own travel cot. Additional info: Cornish cream tea upon arrival. Location: beach 6 miles, pub and shop 1 mile. Additional Info: Both bedrooms will have TVs from 24 January 2018.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We had a lovely week at the cottage, took our large German shepherd dog.The location is perfect for travelling to other locations . An hour to Newquay, mevergissy, padstow. Port Isaac. Eden project. After each trip out there was no problem finding our way back with sat naves help. The local village has a well stocked Spar store for convenience shopRead moreping. Eggs and jam can be purchased from local cottage industries,near the farm . Just a beautiful quiet place to stay, very friendly. Hide

The cottage was beautiful and so well equiped we were welcomed with a lovely cream tea. The owners were welcoming and so helpful. My daughter loved looking at the sheep and cows in the field and loved having visits from the farms dog & cat. Everything was thought of and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A really nice homely cottage on a wonderful working farm. Friendly people and friendly dog and cats which liked to pay us a visit. The tennis court was great when the weather was dry. Great place to unwind and relax for a week. Looe -best local place to visit and recommend The Catch for fish and chips in the harbour. If you fancy a drive out St IveRead mores was fantastic! We all loved the holiday including the dog as she found the best walk ever in Cardinham Woods. Hide

Had a lovely relaxing peaceful holiday and the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you and the one cat Harley took a liking to us all and would insist on having some fuss. The location meant having a car to travel about but plenty of places nearby to visit. I would definitely recommendRead more this to others and would go back myself. Hide

A cosy,well equipped cottage set in a beautiful location. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners and their farm dog ,Kai and given a delicious cream tea and home made biscuits for the kids. We love coming to visit cornwall and the cottage was only a short drive away from places such as polperro,looe,newquay and bodmin.
