Set in the charming village of Bolingey, this delightful self-contained cottage provides a haven of peace and tranquillity and is perfect for beautiful walks and beaches.

This is an ideal base for those looking to explore this beautiful area which has so much to see. Within an easy drive are St Ives to the west, Newquay to the east and the Eden Project to the south. Perranporth, a popular seaside resort, is just a fifteen minute walk and is renowned for its golden sands, surfing beaches and amazing coast paths. The village of Bolingey, where the cottage is located, boasts a superb 17th century inn which serves excellent food.

On entering this stylish, split level accommodation, which is approached via three steps down, you will find yourself in the inviting half landing which leads down into the attractive and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. The cosy lounge is a snug place to relax, complete with SkyTV and DVD. The delightful dining area is ideal, whether you’re enjoying a big meal or grabbing a quick breakfast, the garden view being a bonus. The attractively designed kitchen is equipped with everything you might need during your holiday including an electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. Heading back to the landing you will find the shower room, complete with WC. Moving upstairs you will discover the comfy and bright double bedroom. Although this property is adjacent to the owner’s home, peace and privacy are assured.

Heading outside, you can unwind in the delightful garden and patio area, shared with the owner’s home, with seating, pond and beautiful countryside views. Off-road parking is available for one car.

Enjoyed our stay and watching birds and wildlife in the garden. The only downside I would say is that Bolingey is very hilly and you will require transport of some kind.

Nice quite cottage, within walking distance of Perranporth beech & shops (15mins). Pub down bottom of road. All amenities you need to be comfortable and cook. Large TV, Sky box, with recorder, good streaming Internet and plenty of mains sockets. We went off season and had to use the supplied heaters, but kept nice and warm & most places are closed Read moreMonday nights. A few local take-a-ways close by Parking on site, off main road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. Everything was clean and tidy with the added bonus of sky tv for those chilly nights in (we stayed in November). Only a short walk away from Perranporth beach and also an ideal location for exploring the rest of Cornwall. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

A lovely snug hideaway off the beaten track. The owners were both very charming, and helpful in tips for eateries and places to see etc. The Bolingey pub in the village (about 3-4 minutes walk from cottage) has a lovely selection of ales and ciders. Wonderful welcoming cottage, everything required supplied and in a great location within walking distance to Perranporth beach and surrounding bars. Also accessible to other locations enjoyed some great days out at Eden project, Heligan and Lizard Point.

Lovely cosy cottage for two, well equipped and decorated. Good base to explore Cornwall. Easy walk to Perrin Porth for a good selection of eating places - Willow especially. Bolingey Inn excellent local pub for food and a Sunday lunch (advise book in advance though).
