Set within 30 acres of farmland, this small complex of three pleasant one-bedroom properties has sea views, ponies and chickens, and a footpath to the coast.

One of three beautiful single-level properties situated close to Sennen Cove, Land’s End and the Cape of Cornwall, this a wonderful holiday home to set up as a base from which to explore the area. Footpaths from the barn lead to Gwenver and the South West Coast Path. Several beautiful coves and beaches can be found on the Penwith peninsula including the Porthcurno beach with the Minack open-air theatre nestling in the cliffs. Visit the working mine museums of Levant and Geevor, which will give visitors an insight into how big the tin mining industry was in the area – a real trip back into the past. A few miles from the property is a choice of pubs, shops and restaurants in Sennen or St Just. Further afield, the historic towns of Penzance and St Ives can be reached.
These lovely barn conversions have vaulted ceilings, original exposed beams and wooden floors, making the most of their original features. The accommodation is set across a single storey, ensuring easy access throughout. On arrival at the property, guests will find the spacious and inviting lounge/kitchen/diner, as well as a delicious cream tea offered by the owners. The lounge has ample comfy seating, a TV/DVD, and a wood burner effect gas fire perfect for chilly nights. The kitchen area comes complete with an oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave, while the dining area is perfect for two. Also on the same level is the bedroom, containing a four-poster double bed, a TV and a luxury en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.
Patio doors lead outside to an enclosed garden with seating, where guests can take in the beautiful views over towards Gwenver Beach, which is approximately a mile away. Guests are invited to make friends with the farm animals that live on site in the barns, fields and paddock including ponies, chickens and ducks. There’s ample off-road parking too.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

On arrival we received a warm welcome which was just part of the reason we enjoyed our stay at the well-equipped cottage. There was a stunning view, and the cottage made good use of its space so we and the dogs never felt crowded. We would certainly return.

A well equipped cottage close to Senna and Lands End. We made good use of the maps and information to go on some wonderful walks with our dog. It has to be said that there were electric fences across some of the footpaths directly from the cottage which meant that we had to make some diversions totally out of the control of the home owners. Mr and Read moreMrs Jenkins were very welcoming without being imposing, and we really enjoyed our week at Ducks Waddle. Hide

We had a lovely week break at Ducks Waddle with our two dogs. The owners live across the yard and are friendly and helpful. The cottage is lovely, clean and well positioned for walking the coastal paths and touring the west of cornwall. I will definitely be back.

We had a good time and it's in a good location. The cottage looks lovely inside and out. A couple of small-ish complaints are that it was lacking a couple of basic things like handwash. The place could be slightly cleaner, and the fire didn't seem to work. But overall pretty happy.

Fantastic property, amazing location. I won't forget that breakfast time view for a long time. Lovely walking from the property. Can't fault it really. An unforgettable 2 weeks. Thank you.....

On arrival we had a lovely cream tea waiting for us which was a good start. The cottage had everything we wanted, clean, comfortable and cosy. We had an enclosed outside seating area to admire the views once the mist had disappeared! The location was idea for us as it close to the SW coastal paths. We had a very enjoyable stay at Duck Cottage.

We had a lovely holiday at Ducks Waddle. It was clean and very well equipped with nice quality furnishings. The only point I'd like to say is that the walk to the beach is not easy this was not made clear in the listing. The walk is very uneven and overgrown in places. With a sleep cliff path/steps to access the beach. It isn't a walk that could eaRead moresily be done with deck chairs beach equipment etc. The location is quite remote and we needed to use the car everyday. Hide

We had to go 5 miles back down the road to Penzance after arriving to buy washing up sponges (none left for us) and toilet roll (only left an eighth of a roll and no spare). Otherwise the cottage was lovely. Very quiet and private, beautiful views, warm and cosy. We also had a lovely lady dog sit for us one evening so we could attend the Minack TheRead moreatre. Hide

The cottage was everything that one could wish for and we hope to stay there again sometime in the future. The hosts generously returned some items we had foolishly left behind and for this we are extremely grateful.

The cottage was really nice and modern, only a few things that needed sorting, we had a very welcoming Cornish cream tea on arrival, a really nice touch. Beautiful views including sea views, the distance to the beach was good. The dog loved it :)
