Excellent cottage and location, we had a brilliant week and the cottage is cosy and welcoming. We found it useful to go in/out of the rear utility door as that way you can take you boots/coats etc... off and not have to go through the house, as the first few days were wet but it is October! The 5 Pilchards pub opposite has excellent food but limiteRead mored choice and you do need to book on a weekend. On the whole a great spot for piece and quiet watching the walkers, boats etc... go by and will return. Hide

We had a lovely time in this cottage which is right on a shingle beach. It was great to be able to walk in your wetsuit straight into the sea. The view from the breakfast table was lovely and binoculars are provided so you can have a squint at all the shipping. Sofas were really squashy and cosy, everything worked, and there was a good area to dry Read morestuff. Hide

Great location, just by the beach and pub. Well equipped throughout, although we did miss having a dishwasher although if you eat at the local pub enough there was no need!! Very nice beach and village, everyone very friendly. You must go to the fat apple cafe for breakfast - the best I have ever had anywhere!!

Having binoculars was good we watched the tankers every night. Pub across the road was nice the food looked lovely it seemed to be the locals pub.

We had a lovely time although the weather was awful. We even had a power cut for about 20 hours. Didn't find the locals very friendly.
