These detached former barns have been converted to the highest of standards and they offer a luxurious base for families and couples all year round. Located perfectly for touring the whole of this stunning county from Padstow to the traditional fishing villages and picturesque coast of the south.

A great selection of attractions are within easy reach including the must see Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and numerous National Trust properties. The bustling city of Truro is close by and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants hidden amidst its cobbled streets, and St Austell, St Mawes and even the Lizard and Land's End make great day trips. For those eager to experience a taste of Cornwall you will also be spoilt for choice when it comes to tea rooms in the area! Or those more energetic can explore on of the many local cycle routes. Alternatively, stay closer to home and walk out on the footpath that leads direct from the land. The north coast is 5 miles and the south coast less than 10 miles with their massive sandy beaches and sailing facilities.

Amenities: bed linen, towels, electric, Wi-Fi and central heating (underfloor heating throughout perfect for winter breaks) included; the underfloor heating is powered by ground source heat which is driven by the solar panels on the adjacent cattle shed. Regret no smoking inside the property. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome; the owners' politely request that all dogs are treated against fleas prior to arrival. Additional info: the owners sell a small selection of local and home produce on-site, a breakfast hamper and one pot suppers can be organised and there is also a pizza oven available for guests to hire by prior arrangement, operated by the owners. Location: beach 5 miles, pub, village shop, Post Office and tea rooms all within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom on the ground-floor: king-size with memory foam mattress (which can be presented as a twin upon request) with luxury en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner on the first-floor: open-plan with woodburner (first basket of logs free, extra can be purchased from the owner), TV, DVD, stunning countryside views and French doors to the enclosed decked area and private patio. Kitchen/diner area with modern fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including electric hob and double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Outside: private patio to the rear of the property with garden furniture and BBQ as well as an enclosed decked area and open grassed areas. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Additional info: the washing machine is located in the pump house below the decking, where there is a line for drying clothes.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We loved staying at this property. We could reach everything we wanted within 30 to 45 mins and then come back at the end of a long day to more wonderful views and a quiet location to relax.

Great location to visit all areas of Cornwall and only 5 minutes from Truro. Accommodation was excellent and had everything you need.

We stayed for 2 weeks during January and had a great time. We found the accommodation very comfortable which was ideal in winter as we spent more time indoors than we would in mid-summer. The house was well located with many places to visit within 20 miles. The underfloor heating was very good so we never needed the log burner.

A superb holiday cottage in a delightful, quiet, rural location ideal for dog walks and for exploring the north and south Cornish coastline. A delicious lemon drizzle cake, bottle of wine and milk were awaiting our arrival and the cottage was very warm, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Brilliant location - all of Cornwall's delights within easy drive. Fantastic little cottage set in a beautiful and peaceful location centrally located to pretty much anywhere you're likely to visit. Minutes from Truro for all your amenities yet you feel like you're miles from anywhere. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend this property to friends and family.

The cottage was very attractive, beautifully clean and very welcoming with a bottle of wine and delicious lemon drizzle cake!The view from the upstairs living room and veranda was gorgeous and Jane the owner, very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely go back there again!
