This renovated detached cottage has been sympathetically finished to a high standard and well-equipped. Enjoying views over the rolling countryside, and from the spacious enclosed garden and decked area, enjoys complete privacy.

Sitting within the quiet hamlet of Mawla, rest and relaxation is guaranteed, a short drive to some of Cornwall's most popular surfing hot spots. Portreath, St Agnes, Porthtowan and the capital city of Truro is 10 miles away and offers a wealth of shopping opportunities to pick up the perfect memento, as well as a host of restaurants and pubs to sample the local delicacies. The surrounding countryside offer some of the finest routes for walkers and cyclists alike, littered with stunning views and picturesque relics of Cornwall's mining heritage, and some of the most beautiful and rugged coastline to enjoy. The old tramway is a 2 minute walk, this is now a bridle and cycle path from Devoran to Portreath with cycle hire and riding stables just down the road. Leisure facilities: hot tub located on the decked area.

The accommodation with low doorways in areas offers FOUR bedrooms: all located on the first floor, 1 spacious master king-size, 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms, with one full of character set within the eaves and offering lowered sloped ceiling. Bathroom: located on the first floor with roll-top bath and separate shower. There is also a shower room on the ground floor with WC. Lounge: with inglenook fireplace and woodburner, Smart TV with Blue Ray player and Freeview. A separate quiet snug room with Smart TV with Blue Ray player, comfy seating and a further woodburner. Kitchen: that has been well-equipped with range cooker and single oven with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility: with washing machine, tumble dryer and separate wine fridge. Outside: the property benefits from a spacious private enclosed rear garden with decked area, hot tub, sun loungers, BBQ and a separate enclosed area perfect as a dog exercising area. Amenities: ample off-road parking available. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking within the property. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Regret no single sex parties. Additional info: steep narrow stairs leading to the first floor. Location: beach 2 miles, shop and pubs 2 miles. Arrival: 3pm.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We enjoyed our fantastic new year break. The cottage was comforting and well equipped for our families , the log fire was a treat- especially for the time of year and the hot tub was enjoyed by all- thank you

This is a holiday home, not a holiday house. Spacious, comfortable, beautifully maintained and equipped. The owners were delightful and keen that we were comfortable. All the necessary conveniences such as supermarkets just 5 mins away. Easy transport links yet silent and away from things. Idyllic. We'll be back.

Well equipped, spacious and restful cottage. Dog friendly, which was great for us. Great entertainment and circulation space... Nice kitchen if you like to cook. Overal really happy with our break and we will return to Lukes Cottage.

My family and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was very comfortable and the location was superb. It was near to many dog friendly beaches and many attractions. It also was wonderful to sit outside on the deck and just enjoy the view.

Lovely cottage big kitchen that we used most of the time and then 3 reception rooms for the family to spread over . Hot tub and garden were a hit with amazing views.

Fantastic handover from the owners and a nice touch with the wecolme gift and wine! The whole house is fantastic as a holiday home and you couldn't ask for more. The location is great regards food shopping and traveling to Newquey/St Ives and other places etc (30 minutes drive) Definitely will return in the future.

Lovely Spacious house for large family, especially the second smaller sitting room which was really useful with a young baby when quiet was needed. The house was very clean and well equipped and the hot tub relaxing for the adults and fun for the children. A very quiet area with lovely views. Many Thanks.
